Ali and her husband, Sam Berlow, launched Edible Vineyard magazine (a member of Edible Communities) in the spring of 2009. Ali was the editor, Sam the publisher. After three years, Ali shifted to her focus to write books and Sydney Bender became and remains today, the magazine's editor. Ali and Sam are co-publishers and immensely proud of their magazine's primary team thatincludes Sydney Bender, Claire Lindsey, Elizabeth Cecil (managing photo editor) and Emma Young - poet, letter press printer and James Beard Award winner.
